Love Sex and Crap

This was a extract from a conversation I had with my friend a week after Revolution 2020 was released and you are right the subject was Mr. Chetan Bhagat ,the celebrated literary of young India with burgeoning  fan followers.But here I am with different opinion almost outcasted as you would have known by now and many of you would have start thinking "what the hell ,utter rubbish"and will quit reading in next few sentences .And it is very obvious after all I am not a Chetan .Actually "A Chetan" and not "The Chetan"becoz in the last  five or six years  you can see mushrooming of chetan and spreading of this intellectual contagion all  over India especially in engineering colleges (even inferior colleges like NITs are inflicted by this ).We engineers are worst victim of this literary influenza and its pretty obvious considering the lot of time we are provided with to waste like I am wasting now.

Actually not a long time back in my very first year of ragging free college i was facing with a problem of lot of time to spend doing nothing as even ragging was abandoned till then  ,so a wildest of thought occurred to me of exploring " Chetan within me" ,so I decided to pen down my own love story with a exaggeration of sex.But after drafting of few pages I quit and of course there were reasons :
      
Firstly I never happened to met daughter of my HOD
And secondly with the first sight of my HOD I stopped thinking about his female offspring
so this is how my first attempt to seize" Chetan within" failed.But I still continued to read his writings though slowly and slowly I dont know why my absorption in his novels showed a negative graph may be my saturation  point for Love Sex and Crap was achieved or the humor grasping power of my mind was on a downrun  as now I was a engineering student  and depletion of  intellectual layers is quite a phenomenon in here.

Whatever ,by the time Bhagat 2020 was released I was completely turned bigot as many of my friends think (although i am not pretty sure of that)and yes from what I grasped I concluded that Bhagat and Revolution can be used as synonyms as good or bad he has reinvigorate a new style of writing which has a far better connectivity than BSNLAlthough I agree that he is a celebrity and I dont even have a 'C' of celebrity in my name but after all India is country with egalitarian society and I am free man as far as my interpretation of constitution is considered and free to say whatever I like to say.

Talking about country and constitution , I remember that few time back after reading one of the Love stories of a gifted IITian  I thought of mailing a copy to Kapil Sibbal hoping that he might pass some new resolution of introducing a separate paper of 'SENSE OF LITERATURE ' in JEE which i think is very much required seeing the  sabotage of literature and selling grapevein stuffs under the veneer  of classic.

I know by now many of them have stopped reading this but the ones who are still struggling through this must be a great fan of Chetan as only they can develop such a resistance to crap like this.So here is a question for all you readers
 
Have you ever found a trace of substance in what you say literature (although I don't consider it the same) of Chetan ?well even if you would have tried you could not have  found one coz there is none.

Well I am in resonance with your opinion that Mr Bhagat is a genius, dynamic personality but he is not a writer .Well I see him more of a man who is observer enough to grasp the veins of India,and poured the fluid of the veins into his book so that everyone is able to attach a bit of themselves to the book and thanks to the Indian population if everyone attaches a miniscule of himself with his books his book is the national bestseller the very next day .The problem is not that the people read him ,problem is they are succumbing to the arrested intellectual and considering Love Sex and Crap equivalent to Shakespeare's love and tragedy classics.

Mr 2020 now I think is high time that you should stop playing T-20 and start with some real test matches coz in the world of cricketing history(as you must be familiar of it apparent from your books on cricket ) it is the test match that has survived all the ups and downs and even today in the era of  T-20 it is the test that decides a real cricketer ,T-20 is just a instrument of entertainment which  sooner or later will be replaced  by a more enthralling and faster version .

I am an indian and I am not corrupt

I don't know from where the Indians these days are drawing their knowledge ,although I consider myself naive regarding social issues but  strongly doubt the accountability of the very source of their enlightenment.

We the Indians are like those diabetic patient who are in beginning ignorant regarding precaution but as the problem grew they rely on insulin injections and then again become casual They will never realize that their would have been no requirement of medicines if on the first hand they would have taken precautions.
 Corruption  like diabetes never emerge in a day and once it comes it will never go in spite of all the medical treatment .Although its effect can be minimized if one is determined and conscious towards his habits.But this requires patience and strong conviction the very element which we lack.

In the present situation of euphoria created by the self acclaimed dealers of democracy ,we the Indians are shouting slogans but soon we will get tired.We will think, we will talk but we will not act .We the hypocrite, self acclaimed, patriotic citizens of India will break the law in morning ,bribe the system in noon and in evening we will light the candle take out the march all set to eradicate corruption.

Our beloved country is in state of complete emotional blackout.We are losing all or logic and rationality running after the lamp of Aladdin which is these days sold openly by the dealers of democracy   claiming that it will remove the darkness of  corruption and will enlighten the society with the ray of morality,but I tell you its never going to happen because no such lamp exist.

Sometimes seeing this present situation I fell(its my personal opinion),and I am really sorry to feel this, that democracy was never meant for us.Democracy is a huge responsibility which only emotionally balanced,properly educated,conscious,self disciplined society can bear.It is not meant for irrational people having no sense of conviction and busy chasing the unrealistic and non existing ideal state.Its high time that we the Indians should stop hallucinating and should contemplate about the real cause of corruption.Only claiming ourselves as patriots will not do.

MY SYMPATHIES Mr.PRIME MINISTER

In last few months UPAgovernment has faced one of the biggest crisises ever  of their six years tenure.This time crisis is not external but  internal.First problem of this crisis period is naxalism.In feb-march it seemed like no one can stop the naxalites.The govt. in the state as well in the centre appeared helpless.All the measures of the govt. to appease them ,to threaten them,seemed futile.In june-july when the intensity of their attack decreased centre was struggling with anoteher  problem no less deplorable than naxalism in any sense.in my living memory ihave never heard of neither seen such an unrest  in the country.Youth ,children old aged,women everyone it appears like has turned maniac.such an agitation sometimes makes me wonder what causes turned them so violent that the do not even care about their lives.It makes me pity for them.This issue shook the very roots of UPAgovernment.Not even ruling party but the oposition as well as the other small n big parties were left to brood over the situation.
              The third one i had to think before writing that whether it is an opportunity or crisis for india.in fact an opportunity turned crisis regards to beurocracy and inefficient government bodies.we are here talking about CWG majority of our population will not see cwg  in their life time again.it was suppose to be a memorable occassionn ,a subject  of honour ,but it turned elseway .as we are moving towards the finishing touch of the preparation of cwg hitches n glitches n sometimes major accidents surfaces which raise question marks on the organising body .combining the rumours  n the facts the whole cwg issue has broght the coorupt beurocracy n the political body in  front of the whole world .this has been a big challenge 4 the UPA government n it was suppose to be won but instead government failed n landed  into a arena where it is facing arrows of condemnation ,charges,convictionn allegation of corruption n mismanagement fired by the media,critics,opposition leaders,freelancers n citizens.If the govt. fails to culminate the CWG into sucess (still there is possibility of sucess )it will bring shame to the country  that it has to bear for a couple of decade or more.
the last one which many of us woudnt have even noticed is the floods in northern regions of the country.This problem in the normal circumstances would have been tackled easily but in the present scenario when india is about to host spectators n participants 4m so many countries will bring embarassment to the nation n will present such a picture of the country which we would never like to reveal.
I accept this is a very difficult time for dr singh  to take care of all this at a single time.tackling these grave problems at once need appteciation n motivation but the fact is that no one is concerned with the efforts every one wants result.But this is hightime that we indians should realise the efforts of the govt. which we have choosen n instead of condemning them support them n cross our fingers that no more accidents (big or small)should occur in the coming months. n we all should say best of luck Dr Singh we are behind you.
     

RAMJANMBHUMI OR BABRI MOSQUE WHATEVER YOU SAY

AYODHYA ISSUE IS IN AIR THESE DAYS .AT EVERY CORNER DISCUSSIONS ARE GOING ON.ANONYMITY IS PREVAILING IN THE ATMOSPHERE EVERY ONE IS AFRAID OF THE REPURCUSSIONS OF THE VERDICT.IN THIS SITUATION IT IS THE DUTY OF EVRY CITIZEN OF THE COUNTRY  THAT HE OR SHE SHOULD NOT  MAKE ANY GESTURE OR STATEMENT WHICH POSSIBLY CAN AROUSE RELIGIOUS SENTIMENTS.IN LAST FOUR OR FIVE DAYS I HAVE GOT  AROND 5 TO 10 SMS OF REBELIOUS NATURE.IT IS HIGH TIME NOW THAT FUNDAMENTALISTS SHOULD RISE  ABOVE THE VESTED INTERESTS AND SHOULD GIVE PRIORITY TO THE NATIONAL INTEREST.THEY SHOULD STOP MONKEYING WITH THE RELIGIOUS SENTIMENTS OF PEOPLE,IT WILL DO NO GOOD  BUT HARM.
             HERE I WOULD LIKE TO CONDEMN MEDIA ALSO AS THEY  ARE NOT PLAYING THEIR PART  WELL.MEDIA IN PAST HAS PLAYED ROLE OF HARBRINGER OF REVOLUTION.IT WAS THE MEDIEM TO FLOAT IDEAS AND THOUGHTS OF GREAT REVOLUTIONARIES BUT  NOW  THE VERY INSTITUTE HAS CORRUPTED.REGARDING THE AYODHYA ISSUE WHAT MEDIA SHOULD IS TO COOL DOWN  THE SENTIMENTS &URGE THE COUNTRY TO HAVE PATIENCE&FOLLOW THE CONSTITUTIONSL METHOD  TO THE PROBLEM.INSTEAD THEY ARE FLOATING THE SENSE OF XENOPHOBIA.IS THERE ANYONE IN THIS COUNTRY TO RAISE DOUBT ON THE PROPREITY OF MEDIA.AYODHYA ISSUE HAS NOW MADE ITS PRESENCE DEEP IN THE HEARTS OF BOTH HINDU&MUSLIM.LITIGATION IS CERTAINLY NO ANSWER TO THIS PROBLEM ,INSTEAD THIS ISSUE CAN BE SOLVED BY NEGOTIATIONS&DIALOGUES BETWEEN THE TWO PARTIES &THAT ALSO WHEN THE TWO PARTIES  SHOULD RAISE THEIR  INTEREST FROM VESTED TO NATIONAL.
